That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That all new windows, external doors and rainwater goods shall match those of the existing building in type, design and external finish. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That before the works commence, ventilation details shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent to demolish any part of the building, the applicant shall take such steps and carry out such works as shall, during the progress of the works permitted by this consent, secure the safety and stability of that part of the building which is to be retained. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the works shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the description, plans and specifications contained in the application, subject to the amendments referred to above, and subject to the conditions hereby imposed. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
