Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That the tennis court hereby permitted shall be used only for the
purposes incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse and shall
not be used for any commercial or business purpose whatsoever.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
That the playing surface of the tennis court shall be green.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
During the planting season following the completion of the tennis
court a hawthorn hedge shall be planted along the eastern, southern
and western boundaries of the tennis court at a minimum distance
of 1.5 metres away from the tennis court fence. This hedge shall
be so tended as to grow to and remain at a height of not less than
2 metres and that any plant which may die or be seriously damaged
or destroyed within 3 years at the completion of the development
shall be replaced and the replacement shall be properly maintained.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
During the planting season following the completion of the development,
a hawthorn hedge on the southern site boundary shall be planted
and supplemented with occasional trees such as Field Maple, Hornbeam
and Whitebeam. This hedge shall be so tended as to grow to and
remain at a height of not less than 1 metre and that any plant or
tree which may die or be seriously damaged or destroyed within 3 years
of the completion of the development shall be replaced and the
replacement shall be properly maintained.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
