That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and ventilation details has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That notwithstanding the details accompanying the application the high level glazing in the gable of the south elevation to the kitchen extension shall not be provided and the opening shall be filled in and finished to match the approved walls. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
