Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Sections 18 and 74 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That demolition works shall not commence until a contract has been entered into for the reconstruction of the dwelling in accordance with planning permission reference P98/W0848 or such other permission as may be granted by the Local Planning Authority, until such contract has been approved by the Local Planning Authority, and until the conditions of such planning permission required to be discharged prior to development commencing have been discharged. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Dorchester-on-Thames Conservation Area. That a detailed method statement/schedule of works for the dismantling, demolition and reconstruction/new building shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Dorchester-on-Thames Conservation Area and to ensure retention of the historic fabric proposed for retention. That, except as may otherwise be agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority, consent is only given for the demolition of those parts of the building shown to be demolished on drawing ES-790-P02. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Dorchester-on- Thames Conservation Area. That before works commence a detailed record of the building shall be made and deposited with the Local Planning Authority in accordance with a scheme of investigation and in a form which shall first have been approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: Because of the historic intrest of the building.
