That, having regard to the location of the proposed extension on the
boundary with the adjoining property, to the position of the outhouses
and the existing extension at 53 Elvendon Road and to their relationship
with the existing dining room window to number 53, the proposal represents
an unneighbourly and oppressive form of development which would detract
from the residential amenities of the occupants of 53 Elvendon Road. As
such the proposal would be contrary to policy H12 of the South Oxfordshire
Local Plan.
