That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any work commences. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That the bond of brickwork used in the construction of the gazebo shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That the brickwork to be used in the gazebo extension shall be pointed using a lime-based mortar mix. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the lited building.
