Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 24th August 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size, height and location on the boundary, the extension would result in a cramped form of development detrimental to the character and appearance of the dwellinghouse, to the setting of other adjoining dwellinghouses which lie in this part of the Goring-on-Thames Conservation Area and to the visual amenity of the street scene contrary to policies H12 and Con 10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. That, having regard to the introduction of a glazed doorway/windows at first floor level close to the boundary of the adjacent property at 1 Yew Tree Court, the development would result in an unreasonable loss of privacy for the occupiers of that adjacent property.
