Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That, notwithstanding references to the use of brick slips, the doors/
manhole covers shall be constructed of metal and full details of their
appearance shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local
Planning Authority prior to their installation.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That no works shall take place on site until a detailed photographic record
of the structure concerned has been made and deposited with the Local
Planning Aiuthority. This must be carried out by an archaeological/
building recording consultant or organisation in accordace with a written
scheme of investigation which shall first have been submitted to and
agreed by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: As the structure is of archaeological/historic importance.
