That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for making good the external walls and new slate roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That, notwithstanding the details accompanying the application, the windows and glazed door shall be single glazed and works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of those windows and doors has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That details of the method of ventilating the new bathroom shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
