Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That the materials to be used for the external walls shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That all rainwater goods shall be constructed of metal. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
