That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Sections 18 and 74 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That works shall not commence until a contract has been entered into for the redevelopment of the site in accordance with planning permission reference P97/W0918/DC (or such other permission as shall be approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority as being relevant for the purposes of this condition) and has been approved by the Local Planning Authority in writing. Reason: To safeguard the character of the Wallingford Conservation Area and because consent is only granted for an acceptable redevelopment.
