Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its inappropriate form and prominent siting, the
pole mounted advertisement is an intrusive feature detrimental to the
character and appearance of the Clifton Hampden Conservation Area and to
the setting of the Grade II Listed Barley Mow Public House.  As such the
advertisement detracts from the visual amenities of this sensitive
location and is contrary to policies G13 and CON12 of the adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan.
