Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the two new rooflights to be inserted in the east elevation shall be of a conservation type in accordance with a schedule which shall have first been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of any work. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building. That no work shall begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of the new window to be inserted in the gable end has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the window used shall not be other than that approved. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
