Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the siting of a mobile home on the land would be contrary to
the provisions of the approved Structure Plan for Oxfordshire,
particularly policies G1, G2, G5 and EN4 and the Council's adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5, C1, C8,
H6 and H14 and it would fail to comply with the guidance given in
Planning Policy Guidance Note 7, Annex I.  The mobile home would result
in an inappropriate and intrusive form of development in open and
attractive countryside, which would detract from the character and
amenity of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  In
addition, the Local Planning Authority is not satisfied that there is
an essential need for accommodation on the site, nor has it been
demonstrated that any requirement for accommodation could not be met
through a suitable dwelling elsewhere in the locality.
