Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the site lies in open and attractive countryside and the erection
of the proposed buildings, polytunnels and laying out of the growing
beds, would result in an intrusive form of development which would
detract from the character and amenity of the area, which lies
within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Furthermore
the proposed access and highway works would detract from the
informal rural character of Wyfold Lane.  In addition the Local
Planning Authority is not satisfied that enterprises have been
planned on a sound financial basis or that the buildings are
essential.  Therefore the development would be contrary to the
provisions of the approved Structure Plan for Oxfordshire,
particularly policies G1, G2, G5 and EN4, the Council's adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5, C1, C2
and C8 and Planning Policy Guidance Note 7.
