Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the rooflight in the north-west elevation of the extension hereby permitted shall be installed in accordance with the detailed specification accompanying agent's letter dated 28 October 1998. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence, and the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That no works shall commence until there has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a scheme for the means of ventilation; and the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved scheme. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
