Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the bricks to be used in the construction of the wall shall be pointed using a lime-based mortar mix. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That the wall hereby permitted shall only be constructed from bricks that are identical to sample bricks that shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of any works. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That, prior to the commencement of any works, an enlarged detailed drawing depicting the brick bonding, the manner in which the new brickwork will tie into the existing brickwork and the details of the coping shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority; and the wall shall be constructed in accordance with the approved drawing. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the wall during the alterations. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
