Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 13th October 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the removal of condition 2 (ancillary occupation) of planning permission P97/S0232, dated 9 July 1997, would be tantamount to the creation of a new dwellinghouse on this site which forms part of the garden of The Knoll. The site is not a single plot within an otherwise built up frontage and could not be considered to be infill. The development represents the undesirable sub-division of the garden of The Knoll to the detriment of the locality which is characterised by large house on large plots. As such, the development would be contrary to the Council's general and housing policies contained within the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, H4 and H5.
