Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 30th September 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the inappropriate details of the design of the conservatory, the need to increase the bulk and volume of the roof of the existing building and the limited size of the rear garden, the proposal would result in an incongruous and unneighbourly form of development and an overdevelopment of the site. It would detract from the character and appearance of the existing property and be detrimental to the residential amenities currently enjoyed by the residents of 46 Leaver Road, on account of its overbearing and oppressive nature. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly Policy H12.
