Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 9th September 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its excessive size and inappropriate details of design, the proposed conservatory would result in an incongruous extension which would be poorly related to, and detrimental to the character and appearance of the Memorial Club, as a Grade II listed building. The development would also detract from the character and appearance of the Watlington Conservation Area. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies CON6, CON8 and CON10.
