Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 12th August 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size, its inappropriate shallow pitched roof design and the use of reinforced concrete panels for the walls and fibre cement sheets for the roof, the proposed garage would result in an inappropriate and incongruous form of development which would be detrimental to the character and amenity of this part of the village of Woodcote which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C2 and H12.
