Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That, no works shall commence until there has been submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a detailed
schedule of works which shall details of all surface treatments
and the mortar mix. Thereafter the works shall not be carried out
other than in accordance with the approved schedule.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the listed building.
That no works shall commence until there has been submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a schedule of all
new external materials, including roof slates, tiles, bricks (together
with brick bonding and courses) and flints and all finishes; thereafter
the materials and finishes used shall be in accordance with the approved
schedule.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
That no work shall commence until there has been submitted to and approved
in writing a detailed specification of the type, design and external
finish of all windows, rooflights, the external staircase, external and
internal doors, rainwater goods and external ventilation. Thereafter the
work shall not be carried out other than in accordance with the approved
schedule.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
That, prior to the first use of the building as offices all new or
disturbed work to the exterior shall be finished or made good to match
the existing.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the listed building.
