That, having regard to its excessive size and bulk, the proposed two
storey side extension would result in an inappropriate and incongruous
form of development which would dominate and fail to respect the
character and proportions of the existing chalet bungalow and would be
detrimental to the visual amenity of the locality which lies within the
Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  As such, the proposal
would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C2 and H12.
