Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the Stable Block during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That no works shall commence until there has been submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a detailed schedule
of repairs, refurbishment and alterations to the building, including
drawings where appropriate; and the repairs, refurbishment and alterations
shall be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building.
That no works shall commence until a record of the Stable Block has been
undertaken by an archaeologist/building recorder or organisation with
acknowledged experience in the recording of standing buildings and
presented in a form which shall first have been submitted to and approved
in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: As the building is of archaeological/historical importance.
That no works shall commence on any building until there has been
submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planing Authority a
detailed specification of the type, design and finish of all windows,
rooflights, external doors, garage doors, means of ventilation and
rainwater goods for that building; and the works shall be carried
out in accordance with the approved specification.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and to ensure that the
details of the works are satisfactory.
That no works shall commence on any building until there has been
submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority
a schedule of materials, brick bonding and finishes, including samples,
for the external walls and roofs of that building; and the works shall
be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and to ensure that the
details of the works are satisfactory.
