That the additional living accommodation hereby permitted shall be
occupied and used only in connection with and ancillary to the use of the
Old Almshouses as a single dwelling unit and shall not be occupied
separately or independently therefrom.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
That a scheme for screen planting of the north-west and south-west
boundaries of the application site shall be submitted to and approved in
writing by Local Planning Authority within one month of the date of this
planning permission and shall be implemented during the first planting
season following the granting of this permission. In the event of any
of the trees or shrubs so planted dying or being seriously damaged or
destroyed within 5 years of the date of this permission, a new tree or
shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs as the case may be, of a
species first approved by the Local Planning Authority, be planted and
properly maintained in a position or positions first approved by the
Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
