That, having regard to its excessive height and bulk and to its
inappropriate details of design, the proposed two storey front extension
and associated dormer windows would represent an incongruous and
inappropriate form of development which would be out of keeping with
the shallow pitched roofed bungalow and the locality which lies within
the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the
proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies H12 and C2.
