Decision
Planning Permission on 13th May 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the materials to be used for the external walls and roofs shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing dwelling. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That the extensions hereby permitted shall remain as ancillary to the use of the existing dwelling as one residential unit and shall not be occupied separately. Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of amenity and privacy. That the development to which this permission relates shall not be exercised in addition to, or in combination with, any part of the development permitted under reference P97/S0342. Accordingly, this permission shall be alternative to the previous permission so that either, but not both may be implemented. Reason: To prevent an inappropriate development of this site by the implementation of both permissions which would result in an incongruous and inappropriate form of development which would dominate the existing modest dwelling and would be detrimental to its character and appearance.
