Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its excessive size, bulk and height, and to its
prominent, elevated location above the road, the proposed garage building
with loft studio over would result in an incongruous and inappropriate
form of development which would be detrimental to the character and
appearance of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty. As such, the development would be contrary to the provisions of
the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly
policies C2 and H12.
