Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 4th June 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, particularly having regard to the restricted width of the plots
in relation to the generally spacious character of development in this
part of Wood Lane, the erection of the proposed dwellings on the site
would result in a cramped and overintensive form of development which
would be out of keeping with and detract from the character and appearance
of the locality. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the
provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan,
particularly policies G1, G8 and H4.
