Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would be contrary to the general environmental/
housing policies of the approved Structure Plan for Oxfordshire,
particularly policies G1, EN1, EN4 and EN7 and the Council's adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, C2 and H6.
The site lies in a prominent location within open countryside and well
beyond the built-up area of the nearest settlement.  The proposal
would serve to consolidate the built-up appearance of the site and
would introduce a residential character to the site, as such the
development would detract significantly from the rural character and
visual amenities of this part of the Chiltern's Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty.  Insufficient justification accompanies the application
to justify a departure from the adopted policies of the Local Planning
Authority.
