house, to its excessive size and bulk and to its inappropriate details
of design, the proposed two storey front extension would result in an
intrusive and incongruous form of development which would detract from
the character and appearance of the existing house and be detrimental
to the visual amenity of the area. Therefore, the development would be
contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire
Local Plan, particularly policy H12.
