Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 17th March 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to policies G5, C1 and C8 of the
adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to the extent
of existing storage buildings at Manor Farm and Latchford Farm, it is
not considered that there is an essential need for the proposed
grain stores. In addition, having regard to the size and bulk of the
proposed buildings and to their prominent siting on a major approach
road to Thame, the proposal would be visually intrusive and would
extend the built up limits of Thame into open countryside detracting
from the rural character of the area.
