Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the site lies within the Oxford Green Belt where the erection of
permanent buildings for residential purposes, with the exception of
limited infill development within the built-up area of larger villages,
would constitute inappropriate and harmful development unless there are
overriding reasons for permitting the development.  In this instance,
the site is in a countryside location outside of the built up area of
Garsington, the development is not infill development and there are no
overriding reasons for permitting development.  As such, the development
is contrary to policies G1, G4 and G5 of the adopted Oxfordshire
Structure Plan 2011 and to policies G1, G5, GB2, C1, C3, H5, H6 and,
specifically, H20 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
