Decision
Planning Permission on 11th September 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the materials to be used for the roofs shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building(s). Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That except insofar as may be otherwise agreed by the Local Planning Authority, all trees, shrubs and hedges on the land be preserved and properly maintained and that in the event of any of the trees dying or being seriously damaged or destroyed, a new tree or equivalent number of trees, as the case may be, of a species first approved by the Local Planning Authority, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions first approved by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard trees which are visually important. That the existing trees on the land shall be protected whilst development operations are in progress, in accordance with a scheme to be first agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority and to be implemented prior to the commencement of the development. Reason: To safeguard trees which are visually important. That the extension shall not be occupied until space has been laid out within the site for 5 cars to be parked and for vehicles to turn so that they may enter and leave the site in forward gear. Reason: To comply with the Local Planning Authority's vehicle parking standards and to protect local amenities. That the extension hereby permitted shall be occupied and used as a separate unit of residential accommodation only by Mr & Mrs I Mumford. Upon cessation of occupation by Mr & Mrs I Mumford the extension shall only be occupied and used ancillary to, and in conjunction with, the use of the existing accommodation as a single family dwelling, and the extension shall not be occupied or let as a separate unit of accommodation. Reason: Because permission is only given in view of the special circumstances and to otherwise accord with the policy of the Local Planning Authority.
