Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That samples of plain clay tiles to be used for the roof shall be
submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority in writing
before work commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the
type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has
been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That all new timber boarding shall match the existing.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
That there shall be no increase in existing window sizes unless
otherwise agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority prior
to their alteration.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
That a full schedule of repairs to be carried out to the barn shall
be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority
and carried out prior to the commencement of this use.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building.
