Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, particularly having regard to its height, form and prominent siting
within the Henley-on-Thames Conservation Area, the proposed 25 metre
high tree tower with associated antennae and dishes would constitute an
intrusive and incongruous form of develpment which would be detrimental
to the character and appearance of this part of the Henley-on-Thames
Conservation Area.  Therefore, the development would be contrary to the
provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan,
particularly policies G1, G15, CON8 and CON10.  The applicants'
justification for a mast in this location does not warrant any departure
from the planning policies of the Local Planning Authority.
