Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to their excessive size and prominent siting, the banner signs are unsympathetic and intrusive features detrimental to the character and appearance of the Wallingford Conservation Area and to the setting of Wallingford Bridge, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. As such, the banner signs detract from the visual amenities of this sensitive location and are contrary to policies G13 and CON12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
