That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roofs shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That with the exception of the new rooflights all new windows, external doors and rainwater goods shall match those of the existing building in type, design and external finish. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That all new rooflights shall be of the flush fitting type details of which shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
