That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the ventilation of the cloakroom shall be in accordance with details submitted in letter from the agent dated 23 May 1997. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
