Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The display of these advertisements is inappropriate as they are located at a prominent roadside location within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The advertisements are detrimental to the landscape character and visual quality of the area and their display would be contrary to Policies G13 and C2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan (SOLP).
That the display of the signs at the entrance to Manor Farm causes a distraction to drivers of vehicles on the adjacent public highway, detrimental to the safety and convenience of road users and contrary to Policy G10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
