Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That, notwithstanding any indications as to those matters that may have
been given in the application, the roofs of the barns shall be finished
and made good in accordance with a schedule of materials which shall first
have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority. Thereafter, the works shall not proceed other than in
accordance with the approved schedule.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed buildings.
That, with the exception of the roofing materials referred to in
Condition 3 hereof, the materials to be used shall be as specified in
the repair specification accompanying the application, unless otherwise
agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
