Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That, following the removal of the modern brickwork, no restoration of the revealed fireplace shall be undertaken until access to the site by the Local Planning Authority has been allowed and a detailed specification of the new brickwork to be used for the restoration of the fireplace has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority; and the brickwork shall be constructed in accordance with the said specification. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
