Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That, prior to the commencement of any work in connection with the riding
arena hereby permitted, details of the surfacing material shall be
submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority; and
thereafter the arena shall be surfaced with the approved material.
Reason: To ensure the arena has a satisfactory appearance.
That the riding arena hereby permitted shall be used only for private
purposes and shall not be used for any commercial or business use
whatsoever.
Reason: In view of the access arrangements and to preserve the amenities.
That except insofar as may be otherwise agreed in writing by the Local
Planning Authority, all trees, shrubs and hedges on the land shall be
retained and protected during the course of the development and for a
period of five years following the completion of the development. Any
trees, shrubs or plants which within that period die, are removed or
become seriously damaged or diseased, shall be replaced in the next
planting season with others of a similar size and species, unless the
Local Planning Authority gives written consent to any variation.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
