Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 22nd December 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size and bulk and to its prominent location along the front boundary of the site, the proposed double garage would represent an incongruous and intrusive form of development which would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the locality which lies within an Area of Great Landscape Value. Therefore, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C3, G8 and H12.
