Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would result in an increase in traffic using the narrow lanes around Wyfold which lack footways and have poor forward visibility. It would also result in increased noise and disturbance for residents of Wyfold. The proposed use would, therefore, be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the public highway and detract from the residential amenities currently enjoyed by those living locally. As such, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G10, C11, E3 and E4. The Local Planning Authority is of the opinion that these concerns cannot be overcome through the provisions of a legal agreement.
