That, having regard to their size, design and prominent locations, the proposed dormer windows would result in a bulky and intrusive form of development, incongruous with the existing dwellinghouse and detrimental to the visual amenity of the locality which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted Rural Areas Local Plan, particularly Policies G5 and C7, and approved South South Oxfordshire Local Plan (as proposed to be modified), particularly Policies G8, C2 and H12.
