Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th July 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the restricted width of the plot, the proposal would result in an overdevelopment of the site and a cramped form of development and would fail to provide adequate off street parking facilities. Also having regard to it's proximity to the boundaries of the site, the proposed house would result in an oppressive and unneighbourly form of development. The development would therefore detract from the residential amenities currently enjoyed by the neighbouring properties and would detract from the character and appearance of the area. In these circumstances the development would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particuarly policy H5.
