Decision
Appeal against Non Determination on 7th May 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the excessive size, height and bulk of the proposed additional buildings, the retention of Chilterns End plus the erection of six large dwellings would result in an overdevelopment of the site and an overintensive form of development which would be detrimental to the open and spacious character of the site and would detract from the character and amenity of the local area. The develop- ment would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies H4 and G8.
