Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 17th June 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development represents an unacceptable extension of domestic uses and activities into an area of woodland lying within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the fringes of Sonning Common, which makes a significant contribution to the landscape setting of the village. As such the development neither conserves nor enhances the natural beauty and special landscape quality of the area and, thereby, is contrary to policies C2 and H17 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
