Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That the works hereby approved shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That the external walls shall be constructed using lime mortar. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent to demolish any part of the building, the applicant shall take such steps and carry out such works as shall, during the progress of the works permitted by this consent, secure the safety and stability of that part of the building which is to be retained. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
